Our coated Phosphor Bronze strings use the same high quality phosphor bronze material as our regular Fender Phosphor Bronze strings, but we apply a special material to the wrap and bake it on at temperatures exceeding 700 degrees Fahrenheit! This process increases the life of the string without harming the brilliant highs and clarity you've come to expect with our Phosphor Bronze strings.
